Mango Media is a London-based web design agency founded by a passionate digital designer and creative coder with over 8 years of experience in the industry. Mango Media is committed to creating remarkable digital experiences for businesses that seek to stand out from their competitors.
From initial concept to actualisation, each website we have created has been made without pretence or artifice, with the simple aim of celebrating what is good and has always been good about design. By studying the rules at the foot of the giants, we were then able to learn how and when to bend or break these rules, finding the perfect equilibrium between old/new, function/beauty, fiction/reality in order to create websites that captivate and inspire those who interact with them.
Experience and exploration have taught us the importance of knowing when to fiercely preserve tradition whilst also adapting to the new technologies, trends and styles that make and will always make websites special within the inescapably changing world we live in - one pixel at a time. Changes will continue to come and we hope to embrace them with the confidence and determination that has made us who we are today.

The world around me inspires me the most. While living in Berlin the brutalist architecture, the visual design of the posters, graffiti and the use of typography throughout the city was a big inspiration. The same can be said about nature; the forest, the beach and mountain tops, the shapes, sounds and colours can always be used within digital design.

Everything is relative and this all depends on variables such as; How many pages do you require? Which CMS will you be using? Would you like any specialist creative coding, animation or video? The best way to get a quote is to visit the contact page.
UX or User Experience is a design practice that considers how people interact with products. With regards to websites; designers such as myself believe that the experience a user has is more important than how the design actually looks - Great design is not about how something looks, it’s about how it functions.
Therefore the visual aesthetic is always based on method and logic by identifying the typical users of the product. This can be achieved by creating fictitious characters that consist of stereotypes that align with the behaviour, motivations and interests that then eventually result in understanding what actions these users will take when they arrive to the website, resulting in a considered user journey, with clear objectives stated as call to actions.
The short answer is both. I became a developer as finding work as a designer was pretty hard after university. Throughout the 5 years, I worked as a dev most of my roles were hybrid (design and development). Fortunately, this came with the benefit that when I hand projects to developers we have great communication. I studied at an Art’s University and my bachelor’s is in Graphic Communication and before this, I was a fine artist. When I think about code now it is predominantly as creative coding which I really enjoy creating!
In a nutshell: UX (User Experience) is all about the psychology of how users interact with a product; what they click on, what information they interact or engage with and how to create an intuitive and considered user journey.
UI (User Interface) is all about how the design looks - considering colour pallets, typography, visual layouts, photography styles etc.
Genuinely speaking it is important to have an equilibrium of both practices in any design. Therefore many web designers have a great understanding of both however some may specialise in one field.
I perceive every project completely differently and my primary aim is to find something unique about the brand I am collaborating with. Once finding this special ‘thing’ I then create a conceptual design based on method and logic to bring to life an amazing experience.
I mainly perform live as my music is all about the audience and how they perceive what I create. This crosses over to design as the user/audience is the centre of everything I create.
