Weather or Not?
This React.js app explores three atmospheric “states”: rainy Amsterdam, snowy Berlin, and sunny Athens. The goal was to create something dreamlike — a landscape that shifts its entire colour vocabulary depending on the climate: cooler blues in Berlin, warm magentas in Athens, and that wonderful, uncertain in-between palette for Amsterdam’s rain. It focuses on animation and visual design, with typography that leans into a futurist neon aesthetic — glowing, high-contrast, and slightly cinematic — the kind of interface that feels like it should be accompanied by a dark, synthy techno track. Functionally, users can click between each weather state. The transitions are powered by GSAP timelines, easing smoothly between moods, while a canvas-based particle system simulates rainfall, snow, and sunlight effects.
